Out of millions of creatures on Earth, humans are considered to be the most intelligent creature who can
understand and do the work like no other creature can. But I wonder when humans
show an insanely brutal side of themselves and to exemplify this behavior we have
lots of incidents in the history as well as in the present whether it be the genocide of Jews or Armenia in the past or the recent riots in North-East Delhi.
These recent riots caused the death of 53 people and they were either shot or cut with
irregular blows or set on fire just because they belong to a specific religion.
People were molested physically, brutally killed that even the corpses were
found in sewer drains. And what had the higher authorities done? They were
tweeting and asking people to maintain peace as if people especially, the
rioters were scrolling through the feeds on social media. Bringing the army
to control the situation was refused saying that central forces and policemen
were adequate if they were enough to control the situation then how so many
people were killed? Some ministers claimed that it was a planned genocide and
the situation was criticized internationally to stop the massacre of Muslims in
India. But one thing these riots showed is the unethical, insensitive nature of
people towards each other and how one or two communities can lose their normal
human behavior.
These types of incidents in the
society put a question mark over the so-called civilized, ethical people of a
nation that how people became so inhuman that they beat the other alive person
to death or let them burn to death? Haven’t they feel once what an inhuman act
they are doing, hasn’t it crossed their mind even once that the other creature
is a human just like them, not a Muslim, Hindu or of any religion. I think No, until
or unless they have fear of the same thing happening to them. Isn’t it a shame
for a human race where in this world we are taught not to kill animals but we
are killing each other? Does it even matter what kind of education these people
are having if they cannot figure out what they are doing is right or not? As a
human before killing an insect which could harm me I think twice should I or
not? But at the same time being a witness of such cruel acts in society
makes me think that is this the world we are supposed to live where no human
values the life of other living beings? Is this the real world where we want to
live in? I guess these questions need to be asked, people need to learn the
worth the value of other human beings. If this is what a human being is, then, I
think we should stop calling ourselves the most superior creation of nature
because we are just creating a world with a lot of uncivilized civil people.
Yeah, I agree this world is getting curel day by day and recent spread of covid-19 is sign from good to introspect our deeds.

ReplyDeleteThe ideology of humans being superior social animals needs to be adopted in a positive way.
ReplyDeleteYour article clearly provides insights on current inhumane religion based political acts by the 'Uncivilized civil believers'which is a direct result of biased policies adopted by their so-called leaders.
Afterall, we all thrive on love, not hate.
Yes exactly. The ideology of being superior should be adopted positively rather than being superior from one another by getting into such cruel acts.
DeletePeople in India are so clueless to their religious sentiments. These are totally dictated by a handfull of self-proclaimed messengers of God. Even with a very high percentage of graduates, the common masses act not only as mook spectators, but also take part willing in anti-social and inhumane activities.
ReplyDeleteYes, they don't have fear until they become the victims themselves.
